Robert (Bob) Fitzpatrick, 74, former ARCA driver at Mt. Clemens Race Track, Flat Rock and Toledo Speedways, and father of current Flat Rock and Toledo Speedway drivers Eric and Chris Fitzpatrick, passed away April 16 at Port Huron Hospital.

FLAT ROCK, MI—Flat Rock Speedway race teams and officials enjoyed sunny 55 degree weather for a busy annual preseason practice day, with 50 drivers in multiple divisions of race cars on track.

Richard S. Duff, of Sylvania, OH died peacefully Sunday, April 20, 2014 at Kingston Care Center of Sylvania,Ohio, where he had lived for the past several years.

(FLAT ROCK, MI - May 3, 2014) - Frank Jiovani nipped 3-time track champion Paul Pelletier by inches at the finish line to record his first-ever Late Model victory in Saturday night’s 50 lap ARCA Moran Chevrolet Late Model feature at Flat Rock Speedway. 2013 Rookie of the Year Corey Duane captured the 2^nd win of his career in the 25 lap ARCA DTS Drive Train Specialists Street Stock race, while Dennis Whisman scored the “W” in the exciting 20 lap ARCA Praxair Figure 8 Main on Racing Fan Club Night.
