FUEL:  Won’t know pricing until we get deliveries…..Corrigan Oil (Flat Rock) and Bazell Oil (Toledo) return as our Sunoco Race Fuel Suppliers.  They will continue the $50 bonus program on weekly race shows (in drawing if you purchase fuel on race night and have Sunoco decal on your car) and the bonus $$ to the top 2 purchasers in each class at the Awards Night.  Corrigan Oil will once again sponsor the 100 lap Street Stock race June 7; Bazell is a support sponsor for Glass City 200.

CONTINGENCY AWARDS:  Five Star Racecar Bodies and AR Bodies both return for 2014; we are still working on others at this point. We will have complete details at the practices and a handout on the programs and requirements.  **We will also pass out our race procedures and biographical forms and have decal packets at the practice days.  All drivers will be required to fill out a W-9 before payoff.  You can do this at the practice days or opening nights.  That form is posted under forms on the web page.  Be sure you get a copy of everything…..this is your responsibility!

DISCOUNT TIRE is the new sponsor for the Late Model Gold Cup Series.  A $2500 point fund has been posted and Discount will sponsor 2 of the Toledo races.   The sponsorship will allow us to increase our promotion of the 5-race series.  Here are the 5 dates:  Flat Rock:  May 24 (Joy Fair Memorial 100-raindate Sun. May 25 (holiday weekend); July 26 (Stan Yee Memorial 150-raindate Aug. 2); Toledo:  Fridays June 6, July 11, Aug. 15;  **We will be adding a B Main for the 2 Flat Rock dates; we will still run the last-chances, then add the B Main (number of cars at the track will determine if B Main is run.  We will do the same if needed at Toledo!  Entries will be ready by the first practice at Flat Rock April 19.

It’s time!  It’s been a loooooong winter—we are way over-due for a good summer!  Make it to the practices, get through tech, get some laps, get your paperwork done and hope for some warm weather.  Warning---the goal right now is to just get open—it won’t be pretty…..just functional, until we can get some time to get outside and get things in order….If you are wondering, the Flat Rock infield is empty—no water standing, at least at this point.  It’s very soft ground at both tracks….be patient, work with us as you always do and we’ll be on our way…..thank you in advance for your great efforts, time and support….see you in a few weeks!  If you need something or have a question, just give us a call….THANK YOU!
