SOUTHGATE MI (7-16-08)--For those of you that stayed home, you missed two terrific 50 lappers. Both the Super Late Models and the Street Stock A division feature were hotly contested and lot of side by side racing. Both divisions the top six cars pretty much ran under a blanket. I think the largest lead for either division was maybe a car length if that... mostly everyone ran doorhandle to doorhandle.

FLAT ROCK, MI (7-12-2008)-- A late morning rain gave way to eventually clear skies and a chance to finally complete a weekly race card at Flat Rock Speedway Saturday night. For the first time in over a month, the track’s 3 weekly divisions were able to compete. Saturday’s Miller Lite Triple 50’s were filled with great racing in an action-packed night, capped off by the famous Flat Rock Speedway Volcano Fireworks display. Dennis Strickland, Dennis Whisman, Randy DeMaggio and Jim Rae captured main event wins.
...Dupuis Sails at Flat Rock; Takes Diet Pepsi 250 Enduro Win
FLAT ROCK, MI (7-5-2008)-- Veteran Tristan Dupuis made the long trip from Alto, MI to Flat Rock Speedway Saturday night and sped to victory in the Diet Pepsi 250 lap Enduro race. A solid turnout of fans enjoyed great weather and race car bowling, a rollover contest and a win by Ray McClure in the ARCA David’s Jewelry 4 Cylinder feature race.

The decision has been made to allow Late Model teams to run 4 new tires if they choose for the Saturday, July 12 event at Flat Rock Speedway. Tires will again be impounded after the feature race July 12.

Flat Rock, MI (6-30-2008)-- For the second week in a row, heavy rains washed out Flat Rock Speedway’s biggest race of the year, the Moran Chevrolet/Stan Yee Memorial 150 for the ARCA Late Models. Track officials have moved the event to Saturday evening, July 26. The rest of the 2008 schedule remains unchanged at this time.

Re-Set For Next Saturday, June 28th
Flat Rock, MI: (6-21-08)-- Mother Nature unleashed heavy rains, thunder, lightning and strong winds at Flat Rock Speedway Saturday afternoon, wiping out the Moran Chevrolet/Stan Yee Memorial 150 for the ARCA Late Models. The biggest race of the season at “The Rock” has been rescheduled for next Saturday, June 28. The entire program will follow the same schedule next Saturday.

FLAT ROCK, MI (6-16-2008)-- The upcoming Moran Chevrolet/Stan Yee Memorial 150 for the ARCA Late Models, set for this Saturday, June 21, has drawn several drivers that have yet to compete at Flat Rock Speedway this season. A pair of former champions, 4-time king Rick Knowles and 2-time champ Dick Barker, have both filed early entries for the biggest race of the year at the ¼ mile paved oval, both in purse money and distance.
...Fans Flock to "The Rock" For Fun
FLAT ROCK, MI (6-14-2008)-- They arrived late, but they arrived! A huge crowd piled into Flat Rock Speedway for the Marco’s Pizza School Bus Figure 8 races on a beautiful Saturday evening. SPEED Channel’s Ray Dunlap was victorious in the Bus event, while Levi Rouster, Eric Huston and Ray McClure also posted victories. The SPEED Channel crew of Phil Parsons, Krista Voda and Adam Alexander were on hand to greet the fans and cheer on Dunlap and Rick Allen, who took a run in a Factory Stock.
