(Flat Rock, MI—September 13, 2014):  Flat Rock Speedway set what is believed to be a record for the 61-year old speedway during the 2014 racing season, as “The Rock” ran 21 consecutive Saturday nights without a cancellation.

(Flat Rock, MI—September 10, 2014): Flat Rock Speedway’s final race of 2014 will feature 4 divisions of race cars Saturday night, September 13.

Former ARCA Flat Rock Speedway Figure 8 driver Richard “Duane” Mosley, age 50, passed away Saturday, September 6.

(Flat Rock, MI—September 6, 2014):  Despite heavy rains overnight, Flat Rock Speedway roared to life Saturday night for the School Bus Figure 8 show.

Flat Rock Speedway will be in operation tonight. The front gates and ticket office will open at 3:30 pm and racing will begin at 6 pm.

(Flat Rock, MI—September 4, 2014):  It’s very common to find a father racing against a son at the hundreds of short tracks across the United States.

(Flat Rock, MI—August 30, 2014):  Despite the weather forecast of rain, Flat Rock Speedway never saw a drop, allowing the Heritage Newspapers Season Championship Night to be completed.

In one of the weirder turns on a championship race, the top four drivers going into the race, leader Dakota Carlson, Brad Reithmeyer, Harold Fair Jr. and Dennis Strickland all had problems.
