Saturday, May 4 : Opening Day! OSLM, SS, F8, FS 100 Enduro
The 2024 Flat Rock Speedway racing season begins on Saturday, May 4. For the first time there will be four divisions to compete on opening day. The Moran Chevrolet ARCA Outlaw Super Late Models, DTS Drive Train Specialists ARCA Street Stocks, R&M Recycling ARCA Figure 8s and the NEW ARCA Factory Stock 500 Series will make its debut on opening day.
Sunday, May 5 : Flat Rock Historical Society Flea Market (No Racing)
The market has new hours 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Over 200 dealers are expected! Parking and admission are free. No pets at the event, please. There will be treasures galore! Wear your sneakers, bring your wagons and trucks! Vintage and rare finds, collectibles and re-purposed items… there is something for everyone!

The second race of the season will help knock the rust off for the Moran Chevrolet ARCA Outlaw Super Late Models, DTS Drive Train Specialists ARCA Street Stocks and R&M Recycling ARCA Figure 8’s. The Figure 8 Division will run their first 50 lap race of the season on this date. The Motor City Mad Men will have to be prepared for a big race early in the season.

ARCA Menards Series East 150 | Street Stocks, Figure 8
For the second year in a row Flat Rock Speedway is set to host the ARCA Menards East Series. Last year the event marked the return of the series for the first time since the year 2000. See the likes of Venturini Motorsports and Joe Gibbs Racing take on the famed ¼ mile as Chevrolet, Ford and Toyota vie for bragging rights in the Motor City’s Speedway. The DTS Drive Train Specialists Street Stocks and the R&M Recycling Figure 8 divisions will add the the racing action.
Saturday, May 25 : DTS Drive Train Specialists Joy Fair Memorial 100 OSLM, SS, F8 (Rain Date, Sunday 5/26)
The historic DTS Drive Train Specialists Joy Fair 100 will take place on Memorial Day Weekend, Saturday May 25th. Some of the best Moran Chevrolet Outlaw Super Late Models in the region will pursue the opportunity to be called a Joy Fair 100 winner. DTS Drive Train Specialists Street Stocks and the R&M Recycling Figure 8 Division will accompany the Outlaw Super Late Models on this night of racing.

The Flat Rock Grand Prix: 350 Outlaw SuperModified Series! Jacks Bicycle Scout Night!
Officials from Flat Rock Speedway are excited to host the first ever Super Modified race in track history on Saturday, June 1st. Larry and Lisa Gibson will bring a skillful group of open-wheeled racers from the Midwest. This will be another night where four division will take to Motor City’s Speedway, as DTS Drive Train Specialists Street Stocks, Factory Stocks, and the return of the Great Lake Legends Series will add to the new event scheduled for the weekend of the Detroit Grand Prix.

LOOK OUT!!! The famous School Bus Figure 8 night of racing will take place on Saturday, June 8th. The racing evening will begin with the Moran Chevrolet Outlaw Super Late Models and R&M Recycling Figure 8s. Be on the lookout for a potential new event as well. Boat Figure 8 captains will set sail before ending the night with the School Bus Figure 8.

The last race of spring will bring the Moran Chevrolet Outlaw Super Late Models along with the first 50-lap DTS Drive Train Specialists Street Stock feature of the racing season. The MCR Dwarf Series will make their first visit to Flat Rock Speedway in 2024 as they race in the Steve Martin Classic.

VanDoorn Racing Development CRA Jegs Super Series 125 presented by the Monroe County Convention & Tourism Bureau, Figure 8, Factory Stock 500 Series 100-Lap Enduro
After a one year hiatus, the ASA/CRA-JEGS Late Model Combo race will return to Flat Rock Speedway. This will be the one race all season to catch CRA template late model racing at the Motor City’s Speedway. Also on deck for this anticipated event will be the R&M Recycling Figure-8 Divison, and the third 100-lap leg of the Factory Stock 500 Series at Flat Rock Speedway after the second round at Toledo Speedway on May 24.

One of the best nights to be at the track all year! Three 50-lap features for the Moran Chevrolet ARCA Outlaw Super Late Models, DTS Drive Train Specialists ARCA Street Stocks and R&M Recycling ARCA Figure 8s. To cap the night of 150 laps of feature racing there will be a fireworks display, one of Flat Rock’s long-standing traditions.
Saturday, July 20 : LM Sportsman, SS, FS 100 Enduro
On the eve of the Stan Yee 150, the Late Model Sportsman will run their lone event at Flat Rock, which will be the fourth event of their six-race season, the other five being at Toledo Speedway. The DTS Drive Train Specialists Street Stock division and the penultimate 100-lap leg of the Factory Stock 500 Series will be in the rotation as well.
Saturday, July 27 : Moran Chevrolet Stan Yee 150 OSLM, SS, F8 (Rain Date The Following Saturday 8/3)
The 29th running of the Moran Chevrolet Stan Yee 150 Outlaw Super Late Model Race will take place in its traditional late July date. Our biggest Late Model race of the season will continue to honor the late Stan Yee Sr. who is an icon of late model stock car racing, and of Flat Rock Speedway. The DTS Drive Train Specialists Street Stocks and R&M Recycling Figure 8s will also take part in the action on this historic night.
Saturday, August 3 : OSLM, FS, National Compact Touring Series
The Moran Chevrolet Outlaw Super Late Models will return for back-to-back weekends to start off the month of August. The Factory Stock Division will take part in a 25 lap feature along with the National Compact Touring Series, which will make their debut at the speedway. This date will also play the role as a potential rain date for the Stan Yee 150.

Corrigan Race Fuels DETROIT 100 | 100 Lap Street Stock Feature, Figure 8's, MCR Dwarfs
Two weeks after our biggest Outlaw Super Late Model race of the season, Flat Rock Speedway will host the Corrigan Race Fuels Street Stock 100. This will be the biggest DTS Drive Train Specialists Street Stocks race of the season, where over 30 street stocks from the region will try to claim the feature win. The R&M Recycling Figure 8 division will be paired with the MCR Dwarf Cars and their second race of the season at Flat Rock.

The pressure of winning a championship will be ever-present on this night of racing, as it is the driver’s last chance to better their season before championship night. Many championships have been won or lost on this night of racing. Three of our weekly divisions will be on the slate for this Saturday night of action: The Moran Chevrolet ARCA Outlaw Super Late Models, the DTS Drive Train Specialists ARCA Street Stocks, and the R&M Recycling ARCA Figure 8s.

Time to crown FOUR champions on Saturday August 24. Moran Chevrolet ARCA Outlaw Super Late Models, DTS Drive Train Specialists ARCA Street Stocks, R&M Recycling ARCA Figure 8s and the final Factory Stock 500 Series race will make for a high stakes night of racing. After feedback from last season, we will be implementing a Sunday rain date to championship night. The Sunday 8/25 rain date will be the one and only chance to make up championship night.

The wheels on the bus go round and round for the second time of the 2024 season. Our boat race captains will set sail for the final time of the year along with the famed Flat Rock Speedway School Buses. Also on deck for this night of family fun racing is the DTS Drive Train Specialists Street Stocks, R&M Recycling Figure 8s, and the Factory Stocks.
