Sunday, April 23 -- More than 40 cars showed on a mild and sunny practice day in southeast Michigan, as teams prepped for a final time on a Saturday before Opening Day - May 6th at 4 PM.
The racing season begins on Saturday, May 6th with Opening Day at Flat Rock Speedway, so feel free to click the link here for more information on a big 2023 schedule of events in Metro Detroit's home track.
The season opens Saturday, May 6, with a special 4 p.m. start time. The first 2 Saturdays, May 6 and May 13, will both have racing at 4 p.m. Night racing begins Saturday, May 20.
The ARCA Moran Chevrolet Outlaw Super Late Models, the R & M Recycling Figure 8’s and the DTS Drive Train Specialists Street Stocks will hit the track for a day of fun-filled, family entertainment. Parking is free on the track grounds, and kids 6-12 are just $5 each. Adult admission for both May 6 and May 13 is $15 per person.
