BEHIND THE SCENES: ARCA Returns to Flat Rock in the Dutch Boy 150

Saturday, May 20 -- The ARCA Menards Series East Dutch Boy 150 proved to be a historic occassion, as fans and teams were treated to one of the most unique events in track history. With the stars and cars out at the Level Pebble, fans at Flat Rock came loud and provided a great atmosphere that only Metro Detroit's Home Track could provide.

William Sawalich took his second career ARCA East victory over Sean Hingorani and celebrated in Monroe Asphalt Winners Circle under the lights of fireworks, which added to the flare of this event. In the DTS Drive Train Specialists Street Stock division, Jeremy Vanderhoof took his second feature win of the year and Bob Stewart took a checkered flag into the stands as winner of the B-Main. Vanderhoof would double dip in victory lane later that evening, finishing off the R&M Recycling Figure 8 division night cap with a second win on this historic night.
