AUTOGRAPH NIGHT, KIDS POWER WHEELS DERBY AT FLAT ROCK SATURDAY!
R & M Recycling will sponsor Saturday’s Autograph Night and Power Wheels Derby at Flat Rock Speedway. Fans can walk onto the track and meet their favorite drivers! The Autograph session is set for 6:15 and racing begins at 7 p.m.
The Power Wheels Derby is for Kids ages 3-10. Each contestant must provide their own Power Wheels car and helmets must be worn. The entry form is on the track’s home page under the forms button at www.flatrockspeedway.com. Parents will also fill out a minor’s release form prior to the event. The Power Wheels Derby will begin at approximately 8 p.m.
The Saturday, July 14 show includes the ARCA Aramark Late Model Sportsman, the ARCA Victory Lane Quick Oil Change Figure 8’s, the DTS Drive Train Specialists Street Stocks and the Bandoleros. The event is a tribute to the late Wayne Pelkey, a former racer and car owner for many years.
The pit gates open at 2:30, the front gates and ticket office will open at 4, practice will also begin at 4, time trials are set for 5:15, the on-track autograph session is at 6:15 and racing is at 7 p.m. ALL tickets go on sale at 4 p.m. Saturday night. There is no pre-sale for this event.
