SNAP-ON TOOLS BONUSES FOR LATE MODEL SPORTSMAN AND FIGURE 8’S SATURDAY!
Flat Rock, MI—June 19, 2015: Snap-On Tools, celebrating its 95th Anniversary this year, will return to Flat Rock Speedway Saturday, June 20 and will post bonuses for both the ARCA Praxair Figure 8 division and the ARCA Aramark Late Model Sportsman class.
The 5th place driver in each feature race will receive a ½ inch Cordless impact, while the 9th place finisher will take home a 3/8 inch Cordless impact wrench, courtesy of Snap-On Tools. In order to be eligible for the awards, the driver must display the Snap-On decal on the race car. Decals will be available to the race teams at the track on race day.
The Snap-On promotion fell victim to the rains May 9. While the Figure 8’s and the Late Model Sportsman will run for the bonus awards Saturday, the ARCA Moran Chevrolet Late Models and DTS Drive Train Specialists Street Stocks will get a shot at the awards when Snap-On returns to Flat Rock again Saturday, August 29.
A 50 lap feature is on tap for the Late Model Sportsman this Saturday, while the Figure 8’s will battle in a 20 lap event. A pair of “fun” races will cap off the night of entertainment, with a Flag Pole race and the Road Rage race also on the race card for Saturday.
The pit gates open at 3, practice begins at 4:30, time trials are set for 5:45 and racing begins at 7 p.m. Flat Rock Speedway is located on Telegraph Road, just 5 miles from I-75 or I-275. Parking is free on the track grounds.
