One of the most highly anticipated events of the season at Flat Rock Speedway delivered great racing for all divisions on Saturday. The Moran Chevrolet Outlaw Super Late Model 50-lap feature kicked things off with a format that did not include heat racing, a tradition with the Triple 50s. Gary Cronenwett landed on the pole after the inversion and led 45 laps of the feature until Eric Lee took the lead after a strong restart on the outside. This was the first feature win of the season for former track champion Eric Lee.

Up next was the 20-car DTS Drive Train Specialists Street Stock A-Main 50-lap feature event. After Douglas Litogot broke the track record in qualifying, after running a 12.694, a deep invert saw him start in 12th place, with Johnny Rangel starting to his inside in 11th. Andrew Bogusz started on the pole, the rookie typically running a pavement winged sprint car led the first 15 laps of the feature until the new track record holder Douglas Litogot was able to get to his inside on lap 16. Both he and Jonathan Rangel moved through the field together and eventually found themselves running 1-2. After a hard fought battle, Jonathan was able to secure the victory, his second 50 lap feature win of the season.

The DTS Drive Train Specialists Street Stock B-Main was next up in the program. The 8 car feature delivered some exciting racing which saw Matt Bunting work his way past points leader Tom Lafollette on the exit of turn 2 and never looked back.

The last feature of the night was the 50-lap R&M Recycling Figure 8 feature. Figure 8 veteran Brice Thomsen and rookie Mitch Thomas started on the front row as the sun started to set on the night of racing at The Rock. A four car battle for the lead broke out between Thomsen, Travis Earley, Robbie Loving, and Billy Earley. Eventually Robbie Loving found himself in the lead and pulling away from the field. Unfortunately, for Lovings efforts a near miss in the intersection on lap 25 saw the lead handed back to Thomsen. Eventually, Billy Earley was able to take the lead and never looked back.

After an exciting night of racing the Flat Rock Speedway fireworks show capped a great night at the track.
