Toledo Speedway and Flat Rock Speedway are proud to announce Monroe Asphalt as the official division sponsor for the ARCA Factory Stocks and Factory Stock 500 Series for the upcoming race season.

Monroe Asphalt, a Toledo based leader in paving and asphalt services, has deep ties to Toledo Speedway and a strong commitment to supporting its racers. Herb Koester, the founder of Monroe Asphalt also is the visionary who built Toledo Speedway from a tomato field in 1960. Herb’s grandson Darren has continued the family business and the legacy of Monroe Asphalt at Toledo Speedway through supporting the Factory Stock division, numerous projects at the speedway, and having a presence at every race.

“Darren, his father Dave and his uncle Joe Herb and the entire Koester family have contributed so much to Toledo Speedway and short track racing,” said Ron Drager owner of Toledo Speedway and Flat Rock Speedway. “Herb created the place, and we have worked with Dave and Darren for so many years The Koester family’s support means the world to Toledo Speedway and our racers. We’re excited to have them on board with the ARCA Factory Stock Division.”

As a part of the new partnership the ARCA Factory Stock Division will see an additional cash bonus courtesy of Monroe Asphalt to the end of year point fund. The overall series champion will receive an additional $1000 with 2^nd place receiving $350 and 3^rd receiving $150. This will be separate and apart from the standard point fund payout and all thanks to Darren Koester and Monroe Asphalt.

The 2026 race season is shaping up to be one of the strongest yet for both tracks as they continue expanding partnerships, elevating events, and supporting local racers.
