Local Favorite Jeffrey MacZink Part of 16-Car Entry for Saturday's Dutch Boy 150

Sixteen teams and drivers are entered for the Dutch Boy 150 ARCA Menards Series East race set for Saturday night at Flat Rock Speedway. The race will mark the first time the East series has raced at Flat Rock, and the first time since 2000 that the now-combined ARCA Menards Series platform has raced at the quarter-mile oval since 2000.

Hometown driver Jeffrey MacZink is entered in his brother Jarod’s No. 65 Parkway Services Toyota. MacZink, from nearby Brownstown Twp., attended weekly Saturday night races at Flat Rock Speedway as a youngster and began his racing career in the track’s ARCA DTS Drive Train Specialist Street Stock division. MacZink’s best career ARCA Menards Series finish was ninth at another of his home tracks, Michigan International Speedway, in 2021.

All three East winners in 2023 are entered, with Joe Gibbs Racing’s WIlliam Sawalich, Pinnacle Racing Group’s Luke Fenhaus, and Phoenix Racing’s Jake Finch headlining the entry list. Sawalich, who also won the ASA CRA Super Series portion of the Glass City 200 at Toledo Speedway in 2022, won the opener at Five Flags Speedway in Pensacola, Florida while Fenhaus scored a last-lap win over Sawalich last weekend at the historic Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway. Finch earned his first career series victory three weeks ago at Dover Motor Speedway.

Spectator gates will open at 4 PM with qualifying set for 5:10 PM. For the first time ever, fans will be invited into the pit area for an autograph session featuring the ARCA Menards Series East, ARCA DTS Drive Train Specialist Street Stocks, and ARCA The Vault Antiques & Treasures Figure 8 divisions at 6:10 PM. The first heat race of the night will roll at 7 PM with the Dutch Boy 150 slated to go green at 7:45 PM.

Tickets are available at the gate or in advance at FlatRockSpeedway.com.
