Christy May Judge

Christy (May) Judge, whose career as a race scoring official took her to the highest level of the sport working in the Control Tower for NASCAR Cup Series races, passed away Tuesday, October 18, 2022.

Her earliest racing experiences were attending races where her father Paul May was a crew member for ARCA Menards Series veteran Brad Smith. She was an ARCA Official Scorer at Flat Rock Speedway and for ARCA Menards Series events and other local events including the annual Monroe County Fair Demolition Derby. She went on to a 20-year career as a full-time NASCAR National Series race official.

She leaves her husband Tim Judge, brother Rick May, father Paul May and many nieces, nephews and extended family. She was preceded in death by her mother Orpha May.

Family and friends celebrated Christy's life on Saturday, October 22, 2022 at Harry J. Will Funeral Home in Livonia, Michigan.
