FLAT ROCK-TOLEDO SPEEDWAY RACE TEAM BULLETIN (9-10-21)

FLAT ROCK-TOLEDO SPEEDWAY RACE TEAM BULLETIN (9-10-21)

As we near the end of racing season, good luck to our teams that travel to other tracks to get in more racing action!  Please visit our tracks in the area that still have race dates on the schedule.

*While Flat Rock’s racing season is done, Toledo has three more events on the 2021 schedule:

Saturday, September 18:  Glass City 200-Outlaw Super Late Models, ARCA/CRA Super Series Late Models-100 laps each, plus CRA Jr. Late Models.  Race time is 5 p.m.  (Rain date Sun. Sept. 19 at 1 p.m.)

Saturday, September 25:  Rusty Wallace Racing Experience; Ride in or Drive a Stock Car!  Go to www.racewithrusty.com.

Sunday, October 10:  USAC Silver Crown open-wheel National Championship race and the ARCA Late Model Sportsman and ARCA Factory Stock Championships; race time is 2 p.m. (no rain date for this event).

Tires for October 10:  We have no new information as of today on if we will have additional tires available from Hoosier.  Stay tuned.

Banquet:  With the uncertainty of the Virus and whatever goes with it, we have not yet decided on a banquet/awards night.  TENTATIVELY, we are looking at Friday or Saturday, November 12 or 13, at the Toledo Speedway Bar and Grille…AGAIN, tentative.

W-9 Form:  If you have yet to file this form with us, please do so as soon as possible.  It can be found under the Racer Info. tab on both track home pages.  You can email to sschultz@marcumracing.com or send to 5639 Benore, Toledo, OH  43612

*Any balances due on pad rentals, etc. will be deducted from point fund checks if not paid.

2022 Season:   A couple of items we have stated at Driver’s meetings in August:

ALL Divisions:  Helmets:  Date now goes to Snell 2015 and newer (was 2010).

Enduro/Factory Stocks:  Scanner or Raceiver will be mandatory for the Enduro events also in 2022 (already in Factory Stocks).

Our plan right now is to start with Saturday afternoon shows again at Flat Rock next season.

Thank you to the best race teams, fans, sponsors and officials.  We may not always agree, but all of us have worked together to make the quality of the shows from every standpoint very good at both tracks.  Hope to see you at the Toledo shows and support short track racing…THANK YOU!
