FLAT ROCK HISTORICAL SOCIETY FLEA MARKET SET FOR JUNE 6 AT FLAT ROCK SPEEDWAY

May 12, 2021:  Flat Rock Speedway management and the Flat Rock Historical Society have received approval to conduct the semi-annual Flea Market at the track Sunday, June 6. The Monroe County Health Department has approved the flea market based on the current guidelines set for outdoor events under the State of Michigan pandemic orders.

The market has new hours for 2021, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.  Vendor setup begins at midnight.

There are NO advance reservations.  Vendor space is $40 for a 20’ by 20’ space and are on a first-come, first-serve basis.  NO tables are furnished; no pets are allowed.

Face coverings are recommended when co-mingling with other groups; social distance when possible  and hand sanitizing stations will be placed throughout the grounds of the speedway as part of the safety protocols in place for the flea market.

Flat Rock’s racing programs fall under a different set of guidelines, which is for fixed-seating stadiums in the outdoor setting.  The track is currently under a maximum capacity of 20% fan attendance.
