FLAT ROCK/TOLEDO SPEEDWAY UPDATE--MARCH 1, 2021
Good morning, welcome to March! We are 48 days away from the first practice of the season at Flat Rock, which is Saturday, April 17. The first race is scheduled for Saturday, May 1. The first 3 Saturday races at Flat Rock-May 1, May 8 and May 15-all have a start time of 4 p.m.
While we continue to wait for information on the restrictions for outdoor venues from the State of Michigan, the State of Ohio and the Lucas County Health Department have announced a 30% capacity limit for outdoor venues.
Should these Ohio orders stay in place, we are good to go at Toledo. First practice is Wednesday, May 12, and the first race is Sunday afternoon, May 16. School Bus Figure 8 race, plus Late Model Sportsman, Factory Stocks and a Boat Figure 8 race.
We will have more information for you by the end of the week regarding the 2021 racing season.
