FLAT ROCK SPEEDWAY TO HOST SOUTHGATE ANDERSON GRADUATION CELEBRATION
Flat Rock, MI-The 2020 graduating class of Southgate Anderson High School will celebrate their graduation at Flat Rock Speedway Wednesday evening, June 10 at 6:30 p.m. In case of inclement weather, the event will move to Thursday night.
The graduates will stay in their cars, proceed out onto the race track surface and be honored for their accomplishments. Each honored guest will have a photo taken at the finish line with the checkered flag, with the school banner above them.
Principal Duane Lyons will introduce each graduate over the track’s public address system. Music will include the traditional Pomp and Circumstance, The Southgate Anderson Alma Mater, the school fight song and the National Anthem.
No spectators will be permitted to the event due to the COVID-19 guidelines set by the State of Michigan.
