THROWBACK THURSDAY!

THROWBACK THURSDAY!

Check out this driver in Flat Rock Speedway’s victory lane!  It’s none other than Harold Fair Sr.  Harold’s father, Hugh Fair, also competed in the Late Models at both Flat Rock and Toledo.  We believe this photo is from 1970.  The car numbers were #04 and #104.  Harold has 4 wins at Toledo and a Flat Rock win in his career.

Fair Sr. went on to star in the ASA Late Model Series, where he finished second three times in the season standings.  Harold also won an ARCA Menards Series race at 5 Flags Speedway in Pensacola, FL for local car owner Rick Hahn.

Fair Sr. now runs the shop for Fair Racing Development, which includes Late Models for third-generation driver Harold Fair Jr. and his grandson, Max Fair, the 4th generation, who ran his rookie season in the Street Stocks at Flat Rock in 2019.  In honor of the legacy of great-grandfather Hugh and grandfather Harold, Max will drive the #104 Street Stock for the 2020 season.

The entire Fair family is well-known and widely recognized for their accomplishments and contributions to the sport and to the teams at both tracks.
