EXTREME HEAT POSTPONES FLAT ROCK ACTION; 150 RE-SET FOR JULY 27

Flat Rock, MI: As a result of the extreme weather conditions and the Public Health Excessive Heat

Warning issued by the National Weather Service, Flat Rock Speedway officials have postponed the

Moran Chevrolet/Stan Yee Memorial 150 race card scheduled for Saturday, July 20 to Saturday, July

27.

All tickets purchased for the event will be honored July 27. The advance discount ticket pre-sale will

be extended through next week. Fans can save $5 per ticket if purchased by Noon, Friday, July

In addition to the 150 lap ARCA Moran Chevrolet Late Model contest, which is part of the ARCA Late

Model Gold Cup Series and a co-sanction with the Main Event Series, the track’s ARCA Victory Lane

Quick Oil Change Figure 8’s and the ARCA DTS Drive Train Specialists Street Stocks will also be in

competition for a big night of racing at the speedway.

Pit gates will open at 1:30 p.m., practice begins at 3:30, time trials are at 5:30 and race time is 7 p.m.

Thanks guys. We are at Iowa Speedway today with IndyCar and are pressing on but the heat is brutal--looking forward to better weather next Saturday at Flat Rock!
