RACER INFO. TAB: Within the next day or 2, there will now be a Racer Information tab on each of the track’s homepages. This is where you will find everything pertaining to you---memberships, schedules, entry forms, W-9 form, rules, bulletins, etc.

MEMBERSHIP FORMS: Cost remains same as 2018.

NEW DIVISION SPONSOR! We welcome The Vault Antiques and Treasures of Toledo as the new title sponsor of the Factory Stock and Enduro races! Brian Oberle, a long-time fan, has signed on for both groups. More details will follow soon, including a point fund for the Factory Stocks. They are located at 1583 W. Sylvania Avenue in Toledo. We are in the works of searching for a Late Model Sportsman division sponsor…..

FLAT ROCK PRE-SEASON PRACTICE DAY ADDED: We have added a practice day at Flat Rock. It will be Saturday, April 13 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. **With the addition of the Sunday, April 28 show at the track, we expect the Saturday, April 27 practice to be very busy as several CRA/Jeg’s Series teams and ICAR Modified teams are expected to practice for their show the next day. April 13 will give you another day of practice.....we also have the Wednesday, May 1 practice on the schedule.

SPONSORS: We are very pleased to have Moran Chevrolet, Victory Lane Quick Oil Change, DTS Drive Train Specialists as the Flat Rock Late Model, Figure 8 and Street Stock title sponsors respectively. R & M Recycling returns as the Late Model Sportsman Silver Cup Sponsor, while Moran Chevrolet, DTS Drive Train Specialists, Dani’s Transport, Francis Engineering and Royal Truck and Trailer Sales return as Gold Cup Series sponsors as of today. Additional sponsors will be announced when secured.

ENDURO ENTRY BLANKS will be mailed in early February. **We will only do 1 mailing for the season. All entries after the mailing can be downloaded from the web page.

FLAT ROCK PAD RENTALS: The form is now posted. We have received a large amount of requests from new teams….deadline is April 1 for renewal. You may fill out the form and send the payment if you are a new team…this puts you on the list for a pad. IF you do not renew by April 1, your pad may be assigned to someone else! Cost is same as 2018, and if paid by April 1, you also receive a free pit pass to one of the practice days…..MARK IT DOWN. We are NOT mailing the form.

FLAT ROCK/TOLEDO BANQUET is Friday, November 1 at the Crystal Gardens in Southgate.

LATE MODEL GOLD CUP RACES: Due to the increasing amount of ticket and concession sales being purchased by fans on race night, checks will be given out on race night for the ARCA Late Model Gold Cup events. This is a practice that is becoming more frequent at tracks, and we will now put this procedure in place for the Gold Cup races only for 2019.

NOVI HOT ROD and EXPO SHOW: The tracks have purchased enough floor space to display each of the 2018 champion’s cars at the show, April 6-7. The champions have been contacted; if they decline, we will call the 2nd place team. The location is the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi right off of I-96. More details will follow.

FUEL SPONSORS: Corrigan Race Fuels at Flat Rock and Bazell Race Fuels at Toledo will be the Sunoco Race fuel suppliers again for 2019. A $50 cash bonus program through a random draw for each race event will continue this season, as well as the cash bonus program for the top 2 fuel purchasers for the season in the Late Model, Figure 8, Street Stock and Late Model Sportsman classes. Sunoco decals must be on the car to collect the bonuses. We do not have pricing as of today…

D800 TIRES: We anticipate the arrival of tires the last week of March or the first week of April. The Hoosier D800 tire is now permitted for the Late Model Sportsman, Figure 8, Street Stock and Enduro/Factory Stock classes in 2019. **Please note that the 10430 and 10435 D800 tires are the tires that are legal…no other D800 designated tires. Tires must be purchased through the tracks…The 10430 D800 26.5-15 tire chalk marks are from 84.5 to 85.5. The 10435 D800 27.0-15 tire chalk marks are 85.25 to 86.25. The Hoosier 880 tires will still be legal for competition in 2018. We do not having pricing as of today for any tires.

**The 2 tracks will flip nights for 1 weekend only; Flat Rock will run Friday, August 9 with the Enduro, F8 and SS…Saturday, August 10 is the 60th Anniversary Celebration of Toledo…more details soon!

LATE MODEL GOLD CUP SERIES: Dates are: Toledo, Saturday, April 20-100 laps; Saturday, May 25-Flat Rock, Joy Fair 100; Saturday, June 22-Flat Rock Level Pebble 200 (75 laps now goes to 100 laps); Saturday, July 20-Flat Rock Stan Yee 150 (co-sanction with Main Event); Saturday, August 10-Toledo (co-sanction with Main Event)--(60th Anniversary Celebration); and the Toledo Glass City 200 event (100 laps) September 21 and becomes a Gold Cup point race

BANDOLERO NEWS: We are committed to making the Bandolero class work at Flat Rock. We have again scheduled 8 dates in 2019 for the class, which features purpose-built race cars for ages 8-14. *We are having an engine installed in our car and we will be conducting test drives in the spring…If you are looking for a car, go to www.spartanspeedway.com or call us at the office. **Spartan will host an open house for the Bandoleros Saturday, February 2 at 11 a.m. at the Spartan. You can tour the parts department and show room; information on sales of new or used cars and lease programs will be available.

SATURDAY, APRIL 6 IS THE DATE for the 2nd annual Equipment Auction and Race Car and Parts Auction at Flat Rock Speedway. More details later…

We are working with securing sponsors as we get ready! Pocket schedules are expected to be available by the first week of March. Next bulletin will be in late February….time is ticking by….get your car ready for one of the practice days, get through tech, get some laps, memberships, tires and fuel and be ready for the season.
