TICKETS ON SALE FOR SATURDAY’S BUS RACE AT FLAT ROCK
Just under 200 reserved seat tickets remain for the re-scheduled Lakeshore Utility Trailer Sales School Bus Figure 8 race this Saturday, June 30 at Flat Rock Speedway. The event was rained out June 9 and has been added to this Saturday’s race card. The evening will also be sponsored by JAC LED Lighting.
The advance sale ENDS at NOON Friday, June 29. Both reserved and general admission tickets are for sale, in addition to children’s tickets. Tickets can be purchased by phone at 734-782-2480 or at the track office. Tickets are not available on-line.
ALL reserved seating regardless of age are $18 each, with a guaranteed seat. General admission seating (first-come, first-serve) is $17, children 6-12 are $3 and under 6 are free.
With the forecast for a very warm night, a features-only format will be in effect. There will be no heat races this Saturday evening. The front gates, which were originally scheduled to open at 4, will now open at 4:30 p.m. Race time remains with a 7 p.m. start.
In addition to the School Bus Figure 8 race, fans will also see the Boat Figure 8 Race and stock car racing with the Victory Lane Quick Oil Change Figure 8’s, the MCR Dwarf Cars and the Monroe News 250 lap Enduro race. The Enduro event will be the first event of the evening. The new Bandolero class is also scheduled to compete.
The ticket office and gates will open at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 30, race day. Race car practice will begin at 5, time trials are at 6 and show time is 7 p.m
