BUS RACE TICKETS BACK ON SALE FOR TOLEDO, FLAT ROCK EVENTS
Toledo, Ohio—June 18, 2018: Advance tickets for both Toledo and Flat Rock Speedway’s events featuring the School Bus Figure 8 race are still on sale. Both events suffered postponements of the original dates due to rain the past 2 weekends.
Toledo’s Monroe Superstore-Great Clips “Night of Destruction”, has been rescheduled for Friday evening, June 22. Tickets are now on sale by calling the track office at 419-727-1100 Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. until Thursday, June 21. Cash and most major credit cards are accepted. All seating is general admission, first-come, first-serve. Tickets are $16 for adults, children 6-12 are $3 and under 6 are free.
The entire race card will be run in its entirety on the June 22 date. In addition to the School Bus Figure 8 race, the Boat Figure 8 race, Train Figure 8 and a Flag Pole Race are on the schedule. Stock Car racing is also part of the evening, as the ARCA Victory Lane Quick Oil Change Figure 8’s and the ARCA Factory Stocks will trade paint. As an added treat, the ARCA Aramark Late Model Sportsman cars will battle on the fast ½ mile paved oval in a 35 lap event, part of the R & M Recycling Silver Cup Series for the division.
Tickets that were purchased in advance for the Toledo race June 1 will be honored at the front gate June 22.
Parking is free on the track grounds. The front gates will open at 5 p.m. when the ticket office opens. Race car practice begins at 6 and the show begins at 7:30 p.m.
Flat Rock Speedway’s Lakeshore Utility Trailer Sales School Bus Figure 8 event and the Boat Figure 8 race are being added to the Saturday, June 30 race card, which includes the Monroe News 250 lap Enduro race, the MCR Dwarf Cars and the Bandoleros. JAC LED Lighting will also assist with sponsorship for the event.
Both reserved and general admission tickets are on sale, in addition to children’s tickets. ALL reserved seating regardless of age are $18 each, with a guaranteed seat. General admission seating (first-come, first-serve) is $17, children 6-12 are $3 and under 6 are free. The advance sale ends Friday, June 29 at Noon.
Tickets that were purchased in advance are still good for the June 30 date.
The Flat Rock Speedway ticket office and gates will open at 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 30, race day. Race car practice will begin at 4:30 and show time is 7 p.m.
