KIDS NIGHT, 4 DIVISION RACE CARD AT FLAT ROCK SATURDAY—6:30 P.M. START TIME

Flat Rock, MI—June 12, 2018: Mother Nature’s plans have not included racing at Flat Rock Speedway much this season. To date, 3 of the 7 scheduled events have been lost to weather issues. This Saturday, June 16, the schedule now calls for Kids Night and 4 divisions of racing. The program will start 30 minutes earlier than usual, with a 6:30 p.m. time. Victory Lane Quick Oil Change will sponsor the evening of action. The rescheduled Racing Fan Club Night will also be held Saturday.

All kids to age 12 will be admitted FREE this Saturday and receive a FREE hot dog, courtesy of Flat Rock Speedway. Parents should pick up the kids tickets at the ticket windows upon arrival to the track on race night.

The first feature race of the night will be the 40 lap Michigan State Figure 8 Championship for the ARCA Victory Lane Quick Oil Change Figure 8’s! This is a change in order as most nights the Figure 8 race is the grand finale’. The division will take center stage and be the highlight of the evening of racing at “The Rock”.

The track’s ARCA DTS Drive Train Specialists Street Stocks will battle in a full race card, as will the ARCA Aramark Late Model Sportsman cars, paying their first of 2 visits to Flat Rock this season. A 35 lap R & M Recycling Silver Cup Series event will be on tap.

The evening concludes with the first Monroe News 250 lap Enduro race of the season. This event was lost due to rain back on May 19.

The time schedule for Saturday, June 16 will have the pit area opening at 2, practice will begin at 4, qualifying will begin at 5:15 and racing starts at the special time of 6:30 p.m. for this race.

ALL tickets will go on sale at 4 p.m. race day at the track when the ticket office and front gates swing open. There is no advance ticket sale for this event. All seating is general admission and tickets can only be purchased at the track when the tickets go on sale at 4 p.m. race day.
