IMPROVEMENTS CONTINUE AT TOLEDO, FLAT ROCK

June 6, 2018: Despite the weather issues of the past 2 months, both Toledo and Flat Rock Speedways are moving forward on improvements to each facility as conditions improve heading into the summer.

The Monroe Asphalt Paving crew (pictured at Toledo) is busy at Toledo resurfacing the turn 1 and turn 4 areas of the short track. Each corner is receiving new asphalt approximately 30-35 feet wide and 50-75 feet in length.

The track also recently installed LED lighting under the main grandstand, with assistance from new sponsor JAC LED Lighting of Dundee, MI.

At Flat Rock, JAC LED also installed LED fixtures under the main grandstand. The pit entrance and several areas on the driveway leading into the pits is scheduled for paving by Monroe Asphalt, in addition to patching sections of the Figure 8 track in the next few weeks. Concrete work under the stands and in the pit area is also scheduled to take place soon.

Flat Rock Speedway will be announcing another improvement to the facility in the next few weeks as details are finalized.
