TICKETS ON SALE FOR BUS RACES AT BOTH FLAT ROCK, TOLEDO

Both Flat Rock and Toledo Speedways are hosting the wildly-popular School Bus Figure 8 races in June. Flat Rock’s event is Saturday, June 9, while Toledo’s bus race, which was rained out June 1, has been re-scheduled for Friday, June 22.

Lakeshore Utility Trailer Sales will sponsor Flat Rock’s School Bus Figure 8 race this Friday, June 9. Fans will also see the Boat Figure 8 Race, Flag Pole race and stock car racing with the track’s Moran Chevrolet Late Models and the Victory Lane Quick Oil Change Figure 8’s. The new Bandolero class is also scheduled to compete.

Tickets for the Flat Rock race are now on sale in advance through Friday, June 8 at 5 p.m. The advance sale ENDS at 5 p.m. Friday night. Both reserved and general admission tickets are for sale, in addition to children’s tickets. Tickets can be purchased by phone at 734-782-2480 or at the track office. Tickets are not available on-line.

ALL reserved seating regardless of age are $18 each, with a guaranteed seat. General admission seating (first-come, first-serve) is $17, children 6-12 are $3 and under 6 are free.

The ticket office and gates will open at 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 9, race day. Race car practice will begin at 4:30 and show time is 7 p.m. A rain date of Sunday, June 10 at 6 p.m. has been established if necessary.

TOLEDO NIGHT OF DESTRUCTION NOW SET FOR FRIDAY, JUNE 22

Toledo’s bus race is part of the Monroe Superstore/Great Clips Night of Destruction. The event will now be run in its entirety Friday evening, June 22.

The race at Toledo is all general admission seating on a first-come, first-serve basis. Tickets can still be purchased in advance by calling the track at 419-727-1100. The advance sale for the June 22 Toledo race ends Thursday, June 21 at 5 p.m. Tickets are not available on-line. Adult tickets are $16, children 6-12 are $3 and under 6 are free.

All tickets purchased for June 1 and those with ticket stubs that were at the track before the postponement will be honored June 22. Fans that cannot make it back to the event may request a refund by mail. Please include your ticket stubs and return address. If tickets were paid by credit card, please include your credit card receipt with the ticket stubs and address, and a daytime phone number.

The souvenir programs and 50/50 tickets sold June 1 will be included in drawings held June 22. Additional programs and tickets will be available that night.

In addition to the School Bus Figure 8 race, a full race card of events will keep fans entertained June 22. The Boat Figure 8 race, Train Figure 8 and a Flag Pole Race are on the race card. Stock Car racing is also part of the evening, as the ARCA Victory Lane Quick Oil Change Figure 8’s and the ARCA Factory Stocks will trade paint. As an added treat, the ARCA Aramark Late Model Sportsman cars will battle on the fast ½ mile paved oval in a 35 lap event, part of the R & M Recycling Silver Cup Series for the division.

Parking is free on the track grounds. The front gates will open at 5 p.m. when the ticket office opens. Race car practice begins at 6 and the show begins at 7:30 p.m.
