DIAMOND RACING PRODUCTS/JOY FAIR MEMORIAL 100 MAY 26 AT FLAT ROCK

Flat Rock, MI—May 22, 2017: A field of 20-25 of the top outlaw Late Model drivers in the Tri-state area are expected for the Saturday, May 26 Diamond Racing Products Joy Fair Memorial 100 at Flat Rock Speedway. The ARCA Moran Chevrolet Late Model 100 lap contest is part of the ARCA Late Model Gold Cup Series. The rain date for the event is Sunday, May 27 at 6 p.m., if needed.

The ARCA DTS Drive Train Specialists Street Stock division will also compete on the May 26 race card in a “Retro Night” program, featuring 4 car dashes and the pursuit races in place of heat races. A Racer’s Reunion is also planned.

Saturday’s schedule will see the pit area opening at 1, with practice for the Late Models beginning at 3 p.m. Time trials are set for 5:30 and racing begins at 7 p.m.

Defending track champion Justin Schroeder was the Fair Memorial winner in 2017, and will make his first appearance of 2018 Saturday. Members of the Fair family will be in attendance for the event in honor of Joy, the 10-time Flat Rock champion and all-time feature win leader at the track. Fair passed away several years ago at the age of 81.

Royal Truck and Trailer Sales, Moran Chevrolet, DTS Drive Train Specialists, Diamond Racing Products, Dani’s Transport, Francis Engineering and HABCO Tool and Development are the ARCA Late Model Gold Cup Series sponsors for 2018.

Lap money sponsorship for the Diamond Racing Products Joy Fair Memorial is just $5 per lap. Public address mentions on race night and a listing in the souvenir program insert sheet are included. The leader of each lap of the feature event will receive the $5 bonus.
