HEAD-NECK RESTRAINTS NOW IN PLACE FOR ALL FLAT ROCK, TOLEDO RACERS IN 2018

October 23, 2017: Effective for the 2018 season, Flat Rock and Toledo Speedways will mandate the head/neck restraint system for all classes. The ARCA Figure 8, Street Stock and Enduro/Factory Stock divisions will have this rule in place for next season. The ARCA Late Model and Late Model Sportsman divisions have had the head/neck system rule in place for several years.

This change was discussed in several driver’s meetings in July and August with the race teams at both tracks.

The Helmet dating also changes for 2018 to a Snell 2010 or newer rating for next season. This change was announced in April of 2017.

The complete rules changes for next year will be released by mid-November for all divisions. The 2018 schedules will be released around the holiday season.
