MONROE COUNTY BREWFEST ON TAP SATURDAY AT FLAT ROCK

Flat Rock, MI—September 22, 2017: Preparations have been completed for the 2nd annual Monroe County Brewfest at Flat Rock Speedway this Saturday, September 23. The event runs from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. Over 100 craft beers will be available for sampling, with music, food and fun on tap! The Monroe Superstore and LaRoy Door are the venue sponsors.

The Brewfest is held in the infield of the speedway under tents. The initial event in 2016 exceeded the expectations of the Monroe News and Flat Rock Speedway management, prompting the addition of another tent to ease the congestion for patrons sampling the offerings of craft beer.

Two food trucks are also new for the 2017 edition—Nick and Nino’s and Vince’s Drive-In will be at the track offering great food tomorrow evening.

Jack and the Bear kick off the live entertainment at the Brewfest, beginning at 4 p.m. The Hunter Brucks Band takes the stage under the entertainment tent at 8 p.m.

Tickets are $15 at the gate. Each attendee will receive three (3) drink sample tickets with the admission to the event. You must be 21 to attend this event.

Sunday, October 1 is the Flat Rock Historical Society Flea Market from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission to the grounds and parking are free. Vendor space for a 20’ x 20’ is $40, on a first-come, first-serve basis. Vendor setup begins at midnight. The flea market is rain or shine. No pets are permitted.
