NASCAR ON NBC PIT STOP TO VISIT FLAT ROCK SATURDAY NIGHT

Flat Rock, MI—August 7, 2017: Race fans are in for a treat next Saturday as the NASCAR on NBC Pit Stop visits Flat Rock Speedway as part of the festivities surrounding the Level Pebble 200 August 12.   The promotion features complimentary samples from 3 food trucks from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., all of which are based around NASCAR’s teams and drivers! Snow cones, loaded nachos and bbq will be available.

Here’s a brief overview of each of the food trucks:

Go Go Snow Cones: Freshly-made snow cones-fans choose flavors based on their favorite driver’s paint scheme.

Race Flag Chip Truck: Loaded nachos, toppings selected by placing flag toothpicks in the sample container to indicate their choices! Green flag-jalapenos; Checkered flag-Salt and Pepper; Yellow flag-melted cheese.

Racecar BBQ Truck:   Small BBQ samples (wings, ribs, pulled pork) with a selection of bbq sauces with driver-themed BBQ sauces to choose from.

“We are honored to have Flat Rock Speedway selected to be a part of NBC’s promotion of the telecast of the NASCAR Monster Energy Cup race from Michigan International Speedway this weekend,” noted Ron Drager, Owner and Promoter of Flat Rock.

Starting with the July Daytona race, which began NBC’s portion of the NASCAR television schedule for 2017, this unique promotion has visited key cities and race tracks to excite the fan base for the NASCAR races in the markets of the events.

The sampling will take place for race fans entering the grandstand area of Flat Rock Speedway for Saturday’s Level Pebble 200, the first time in the history of Flat Rock Speedway that 2 types of Late Models will race on the same night! A 125 lap feature for the ARCA/CRA Super Series powered by Jeg’s stock-bodied Late Models and a 75 lap race for the ARCA Super 6 Gold Cup outlaw-bodied Late Model Series are on the schedule

The track’s ARCA Victory Lane Quick Oil Change Figure 8 division will also be in action with a full race card on the schedule.

Fans can save $5 on an advance ticket purchase for the event by calling the track at 734-782-2480 or stopping at the track office. All seating is general admission for this race. The advance sale ends at 5 p.m. Friday, August 11.

Race day tickets go on sale at 3 p.m. Practice begins at 3 p.m., time trials are set for 5:30 and racing begins at 7 p.m.
