Flat Rock, MI—May 25, 2017: Thanks to an anonymous race fan, the fast qualifier for Saturday’s Diamond Racing Products Joy Fair Memorial 100 at Flat Rock Speedway will score a $500 bonus if that driver also wins the prestigious event. The “Dented Fender Mystery Award” has swelled to that amount for this race,
The Dented Fender Award gives the fast qualifier, should he/she win the feature, a $100 bonus. The bonus rolls over if not collected, and now stands at $500. Add in the Moran Chevrolet Fast Qualifier $100 bonus and that pushes the bonus total to $600. And with lap money at $5 per lap, a driver could take home over $3000 for the win.
The ARCA Moran Chevrolet Late Model 100 lap contest is part of the ARCA Super 6 Late Model Gold Cup Series, and will be a combined event with the Main Event Late Model Series.
Lap money sponsorship for the Diamond Racing Products Joy Fair Memorial is just $5 per lap. Public address mentions on race night and a listing in the souvenir program insert sheet are included. A practice session from 5 p.m.to 8 p.m. is scheduled for Friday, May 26. The pit area opens at 3:30
The ARCA DTS Drive Train Specialists Street Stock division will also compete on the May 27 race card. A Racer’s Reunion is also planned.
Saturday’s schedule will see the pit area opening at 1, with the first hour of practice reserved for the Late Models, beginning at 3 p.m. Time trials are set for 5:15 and racing begins at 7 p.m.

MONROE NEWS ENDURO 250 RESCHEDULED FOR JUNE 10 SHOW
The first Monroe News 250 lap Enduro race that was rained out May 20 has now been rescheduled as part of the Saturday, June 10 show. Race time for this night only will now be 6:30 p.m., 30 minutes earlier than the usual starting time.
The June 10 event includes the Corrigan Race Fuels Street Stock 100 lap feature, a 25 lap Street Stock B Main, the Figure 8’s and Great Lakes Mini Cup Cars. The complete time schedule for this race will be posted in the next race box on the track’s home page the week of the event.
