ENTRY LIST BUILDS FOR DIAMOND RACING PRODUCTS/JOY FAIR MEMORIAL 100

Flat Rock, MI—May 23, 2017: A total of 22 entries to date have been received for the Saturday, May 27 Diamond Racing Products Joy Fair Memorial 100 at Flat Rock Speedway. The ARCA Moran Chevrolet Late Model 100 lap contest is part of the ARCA Super 6 Late Model Gold Cup Series, and will be a combined event with the Main Event Late Model Series.

Flat Rock’s opening night feature winner Justin Schroeder, has entered, along with 2016 track champ Paul Pelletier. West side Michigan racers Phil Bozell, Andy Bozell, Mike Root and Brian Bergakker, 3-time Gold Cup champ Harold Fair Jr. and Indiana ace Scott Hantz

Lap money sponsorship for the Diamond Racing Products Joy Fair Memorial is just $5 per lap. Public address mentions on race night and a listing in the souvenir program insert sheet are included. The 100 lap feature honors the memory of Joy Fair, who passed away several years ago. The race is the 6th Annual event to commemorate Fair, Flat Rock’s all-time win leader with 159 wins and 10 Flat Rock track championships.

Royal Truck and Trailer Sales, Moran Chevrolet, DTS Drive Train Specialists, Diamond Racing Products, Dani’s Transport and former Guy Pritchard Investments/Tim Hortons of Windsor/Chatham-Kent, Ontario Canada are the six businesses that make up the ARCA Late Model “Super 6 Gold Cup” Series, which contributes an additional $2000 to each race purse of the Series six events in 2017.

The ARCA DTS Drive Train Specialists Street Stock division will also compete on the May 27 race card. A Racer’s Reunion is also planned.

A practice session from 5 p.m.to 8 p.m. is scheduled for Friday, May 26. The pit area opens at 3:30.

Saturday’s schedule will see the pit area opening at 1, with the first hour of practice reserved for the Late Models, beginning at 3 p.m. Time trials are set for 5:15 and racing begins at 7 p.m.

Practice, qualifying, last-chance race(s), a 25 lap B Main and the 100 lap feature make up the race card for the Super 6 Gold Cup/Main Event Late Model Series. The Street Stocks will run a full race program.
