Flat Rock Speedway

The #104 Figure 8 machine of Pat Haywood sits in the infield at “The Rock” for a photo in 1971.  Pat was known as the “Weekend Warrior”, a moniker that appeared on his race cars throughout his career.  Haywood later teamed with Earl Bonner and ran the Super Six, Limited Late Model and Late Model classes around the Michigan-Ohio area.  Pat is a frequent visitor to both Flat Rock and Toledo during racing season, and looks the same today as 44 years ago!
