After a heavy volume of phone calls and additional re-search, the nose piece rule previously announced has been revised and is below. This has been adopted by Berlin, Flat Rock, Kalamazoo, Toledo, and the Main Event Series.

The rear spoiler rule for Flat Rock and Toledo has also been revised to 8 inches tall. The rear spoiler rule may vary from track to track—please call that track before you travel.

Testing on several options and ideas for the 2017 season will begin early in 2016. The goal is to have the 2017 changes to you in early summer of 2016.

REVISED 2016 Nose Piece Rule for Late Model Alliance (12-8-15)

After-market nosepiece to be mounted in a conventional manner. The nosepiece front overhang is to be a maximum of 45 inches from the center of the hub to the tip of the nose, including the lip/splitter on the front of the nosepiece. The maximum width of the lip/splitter on the front edge of the nose piece will be 4 inches. The maximum length of the splitter across the leading front edge of the nose will be 70 inches before the radius of the splitter begins on each side. The lip/splitter along the sides of the nose piece side flairs will taper back evenly from the front 4 inches measurement back to a maximum of 1 inches. The nose piece side flair will be flush with the top of the fender.  There will be no added shelves, ledges or lips of any kind built into the nose piece or side panels-with the exception of the splitter. Both front corners of the nosepiece lip/splitter must have a radius to prevent sharp edges. The nosepiece will have no more than a 1 ½ inches of belly built into the face of the nose. No underside Nose Panning will be allowed of any kind. Any nose piece cut up & deemed too radical for the intent of the conventional nose piece rule or that is laid back or flattened out too much may be assessed up to a 100 pound weight penalty, at the officials discretion. Not all factory nose pieces or side panels may be legal just because someone has produced a radical nose piece or side panels. Maximum nose height is 8 inches, measured from bottom of nose to ground.

(REVISED) REAR SPOILER: Maximum 8 inches high by 72 inches wide (material); Must be made of flat, clear material with maximum 1 inch rear-facing lip. Maximum 42 inches from ground to top of spoiler. Rear quarter panel height 34 ½ inches MAXIMUM, measured at the base of the rear spoiler. Bracing may be done from front or rear. Front-maximum of 3 supports, maximum of ¾ inch round tubing only. Rear-bracing must be inset from side of quarter panel a minimum of 3 inches to outside of right rear tire. Spoiler cannot extend past edge of body.

*NOTE: Rear Spoiler rule size may vary from track to track.
