FLAT ROCK, TOLEDO SPEEDWAYS GO FORWARD WITH HOOSIER TIRE

OCTOBER 26, 2016—The ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards recently announced an agreement establishing a long term relationship with General Tire as the Official Tire Supplier of the Series, but ARCA’s owned and sanctioned properties—Flat Rock and Toledo Speedways—will maintain their long term agreements with Hoosier Tire for 2016 and beyond.

“General Tire’s marketing partnership and supplier status with the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards is tremendously beneficial to the national tour, but it will not affect Hoosier Racing Tire’s status as the Official Tire of the remainder of our properties,” said ARCA President Ron Drager. “Hoosier Racing Tire founder Bob Newton drove his race car at Flat Rock Speedway in its first year of operation in 1953, and we’re very pleased to continue our relationship with the Newton family and Hoosier Tire 63 years later with both our weekly tracks and our regional tours.”

Hoosier Racing Tire, based in Lakeville, Indiana, is the largest race tire manufacturer in the world. Hoosier will remain the Official Race Tire Supplier for the ARCA-owned short tracks at Flat Rock and Toledo.

“Hoosier Racing Tire has been a valued partner over the long term, and we look forward to continuing that partnership long into the future,” said Drager.

Sounds great we just need a better tire than the 880. Horrible tire for flat rock.big reason for low car count people cant offord to buy tires every week just to be competitive.
