    A popular trend among social networking sites is Throwback Thursday, reminding us of some popular memory from the past. In recognition of Throwback Thursday, FlatRockSpeedway.com will feature a "Blast From The Past" each week.

    When you talk about Figure-8 racing at the Flat Rock Speedway the first name which come to mind is Bob Studt pictured here taking a heat race win in the early 1980’s. Bob was totally dominate in Figure 8 division, capturing 13 titles along with 115 feature wins placing him on top of the win list!

    Guys like Little Richard Simmons, Chuck Hall, Denny Pace and Bob Studt won lots of races and championships and built ARCA Figure-8 racing up for a lot of the successful Flat Rock and Toledo Figure-8 drivers of today.
