    A popular trend among social networking sites is Throwback Thursday, reminding us of some popular memory from the past. In recognition of Throwback Thursday, FlatRockSpeedway.com will feature a “Blast From The Past” each week.

    The legendary Mike Eddy made frequent trips in the late 1970's and early 80's to Flat Rock when his racing schedule would permit. The hard charging Eddy would capture 9 feature wins.

    The best - he built the cars, drove the hauler, and drove the race car.  Countless times I witnessed him start a long distance race, pull in the pits fix his mechanical issue, get back in the car and finish the race. Patsy and Mike were the ideal racing family.
