Flat Rock Speedway

(Flat Rock, MI—June 19, 2014): While the racing action has been extremely competitive and exciting this season at Flat Rock Speedway, a little added fun will hit the track Saturday night, June 21 when the first-ever “Road Rage” race debuts at “The Rock”.

The concept is very simple…..follow the pace truck, but you can’t pass it. The pace truck may go high, he may go low…..he may go fast….he may go slow…..they may use the oval, they might dip down onto the Figure 8 track…they might go backwards on either of the 2 tracks!  

And when the pace truck driver Jack Franzil exits the track, it’s all out to the checkered flag—like being on the freeway???   Anyway, it’s a new race, a new gimmick, a new fun-filled event at Flat Rock Speedway Saturday night!

More action, fun and excitement will be supplied by the ARCA Moran Chevrolet Late Models, Praxair Figure 8’s and DTS Drive Train Specialists Street Stocks. The pit gates open at 2:30, the front gates and ticket office open at 4, while practice also begins at 4. Time trials are at 5:30 and racing gets the green flag at 7 p.m.!
