2008 FLAT ROCK/TOLEDO RULE CHANGES (as of Oct. 24, 2007)

ARCA LATE MODELS

Pg. 39, E. BODY WIDTH: Maximum of 82 inches at widest point, steadily decreasing in width to a maximum of 76 inches at the center of rear axle, then tapering to a maximum of 72 inches at rear spoiler. (deleted over the front tires).

Pg. 40, B. IGNITION: (Point of emphasis and rewording): Box must be mounted out of reach of driver, towards passenger side in plain sight.

Pg. 42, WHEELS AND TIRES: (Change): The tire rule for Flat Rock Speedway will be Hoosier 3035 left sides, Hoosier 3045 right sides in that combination only or Hoosier F45 left sides and Hoosier F56 right sides in that combination only. (Delete Hoosier 3025 and Hoosier 3035).

Pg. 42, 13. SAFETY EQUIPMENT: (Change) Driver's helmet to meet Snell SA 2000 rating or newer (delete 1995). (Add-new): ARCA approved head and neck restraint system to be used at all times.

Pg. 43, 17. PROTESTS: (Change): All protests must be made within 15 minutes prior to start of feature. A cash bond of $500 per item being protested must accompany protest and include specific description of each item being protested.

Pg. 43, 19. (Add): No remote recall tachometers.

ARCA FIGURE 8'S

Pg. 48, 17; SAFETY EQUIPMENT: (Change): Driver's helmet to meet Snell SA 2000 rating or newer (delete 1995).

Pg. 49, 19. PROTESTS: (Change): All protests must be made within 15 minutes prior to start of feature. A cash bond of $500 per item being protested must accompany protest and include specific description of each item being protested.

Pg. 49. 21. (Add): Scanners are mandatory, to be programmed with ARCA-approved frequency only. These will be used for line-ups and flags only. Any deviation will result in immediate suspension.

ARCA STREET STOCKS

Pg. 50, 2. ENGINE: (Add): All crate engines must maintain stock manufacturers specifications.

Pg. 51, 7. SUSPENSION: (Re-write): Maximum tire track width from outside of tire to outside of tire is 78 inches. (delete maximum tread width 74 inches).

Pg. 53, 21. SAFETY EQUIPMENT: (Change): Driver's helmet to meet Snell SA 2000 rating or newer (delete 1995).

Pg. 61, 4. (Delete): 2-10 inch holes must be cut in hood. Grilles must be used.

(Add): Maximum of 1 inch by 1 inch rub rails permitted. Must be flush against body at all points, no open ends.

Pg. 61, 6: (Change): Driver's helmet to meet Snell SA 2000 rating or newer (delete 1995).

Pg. 61, 10: (Add): All steering and suspension parts are to be stock with no modifications. This means none.

ARCA 4 CYLINDERS

Pg. 64, 3. SAFETY: Driver's helmet to meet Snell SA 2000 rating or newer (delete 1995).

Pg. 66, 17: (Add): 8 gallon maximum fuel cell recommended.
