Introducing New General Manager for Flat Rock & Toledo Speedways: Brandon Hamby

Flat Rock / Toledo GM

Hello everyone, my name is Brandon Hamby, and I am going to be the new general manager of both speedways by the end of the 2023 season. I have been around racing since the age of seven, when I went to my first race. I was raised in rural Union County Ohio, and later went to school at the University of Northwestern Ohio. This is where I started working with the National Racing Alliance. After a successful season with the NRA, I got the call from Ron Drager about this position.

He told me about the amazing staff, drivers, teams and fans we have. Ron emphasized all the responsibilities that coincide with being the GM for these two tracks. This, along with the history and prestige of these two facilities, are what make these places great. These short tracks attribute to the foundation for auto racing in America, and I am committed and dedicated to insuring the health of the sport and the facilities.

As Scott Schultz is retiring after dedicating 30+ years to the speedways. There is no question that I have big shoes to fill. I will be shadowing Scott for much of the season, learning from one of the best track promoters in the country. I am excited to meet you all throughout the 2023 season and beyond!
