STAHL FAB HARD CHARGER AWARD BATTLE HEATS UP AT FLAT ROCK

STAHL FAB HARD CHARGER AWARD BATTLE HEATS UP AT FLAT ROCK

With 4 races in, the battle for the newly-created Stahl Fab Hard Charger Award for the ARCA DTS Drive Train Specialists Street Stock class at Flat Rock Speedway could see some changes as the division competes in its biggest race of the season this Saturday, May 30.

The Corrigan Race Fuels 100 will hit the track, and that could cause some shifting in the current standings in the chase for a new chassis, courtesy of Stahl Fabrication.

A driver earns 1 point for each position he improves in the Street Stock feature races from his original starting spot to his finishing position.  Lonnie York is the leader with 14 points, Don Roberts is second with 11, while Landon Schuster and Scott Selmi each have 8 points. Nick Shanks rounds out the top five with 7 tallies.

Gary Calhoun, Ray Morneau Jr., Rich Abel, Tim Moore, Adam Jezylo, Steve Chartrand, Rob Moore, Arnold Kirsch, Clyde McKee, Steve Cronenwett Sr., Ian Jezylo, Kyle Worley, Chris Diovardi, Jeff Luttermoser and Jimmy Little trail the top 5 point men.

Kevin Stahl Sr. and Kevin Stahl Jr. have stepped forward with this new program for the Street Stock division at “The Rock” in 2015.  The father-son business will also offer a special one-time price to the winner of the chassis to complete the car.  The Stahl Fab phone number is 419-343-7723.

The current points for the Stahl Fab Hard Charger are updated weekly and can be found on the front page of www.flatrockspeedway.com.
