(TOLEDO, Ohio - May 18, 2013) -- Montpelier, Ohio resident Chad Poorman took the checkered flag Saturday in the Grogan's Towne 50, the ARCA Truck Series race a Toledo Speedway.

Ken Schrader and Federated Car Care rep JR Bishop took a moment Friday afternoon to visit the ARCA home office. Schrader, in the No. 52 Federated Auto Parts Chevrolet, will make his 61st ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards start in Sunday's Menards 200 presented by Federated Car Care at Toledo Speedway. Schrader has won 15 ARCA races over his career, including four at Toledo.

(TOLEDO, Ohio - May 16, 2013) - The days are growing closer….closer to School Bus Figure 8 races at both Flat Rock and Toledo Speedways!  Toledo’s Burge Wrecking “Night of Destruction tears up the track Friday night, May 24, while the Parts Galore School Bus Figure 8 race at Flat Rock hits the speedway Saturday, June 15.

(FLAT ROCK, Michigan - May 15, 2013) - In 2012, for the first time in 31 years, a Super Modified class competed at Flat Rock Speedway’s ¼ mile paved oval.  The Midwest Super Modified Association (MSA) tour was led by Ravenna, Ohio’s Trent Stephens.  Trent went out and sat fast time at 10:449 and grabbed the win in the 50 lap main event, which was highlighted by incredible speeds by the field.  The group returns to Flat Rock Saturday night, May 25 with a little extra incentive to go fast!

Tonight Placer's Car Club Car Show tonight has been cancelled for tonight due to the repaving of Benore Road.  The next Car Show will be next Tuesday.

(FLAT ROCK, Mich. - May 10, 2013) - The ARCA Truck Series is kicking off its 15th season of competition this Saturday, May 11 at Flat Rock Speedway in Flat Rock, Michigan with a 100-lap feature event.

And a name familiar to stock car fans across the world will be a part of the festivities. Bobby Dale Earnhardt, grandson of Dale Earnhardt, Sr., will be making his ARCA Truck Series debut.

(TOLEDO, Ohio - Thursday, May 9, 2013) - The first of six scheduled ARCA Glass City Gold Cup Late Model races - the Hollywood Casino 100 - is Friday night at Toledo Speedway.

Flat Rock, Michigan and Toledo, Ohio—May 8, 2013:  With the 2013 season openers now in the books, Flat Rock and Toledo Speedway hit a busy stretch of racing for the remainder of the month of May.

This Friday night, May 10, defending Series champion Dakota Carlson of Cedar Springs, MI leads the list of entries for Friday’s Hollywood Casino 100 for the ARCA Glass City Gold Cup Late Model event Friday night, May 10 at Toledo Speedway.

A field of 20-25 cars is expected for race number 1 of the 6 race series for the outlaw-bodied Late Model group.  The pits open at 1:30, practice begins at 4, time trials are at 6 and racing begins at 7:30 p.m. Friday night.  The ARCA ACME Dismantling Sportsman will also be in action, giving fans the chance to see two classes on the ½ mile paved oval.  The short track will see the R & M Recycling X Cars in competition Friday night.  The race will also be taped by the Buckeye Cable Sports Network (BCSN).

Toledo’s sister track, Flat Rock Speedway, will host the ARCA Truck Series for the Level Pebble 100 Saturday evening, May 11.  Local favorites Paul Hahn, a former Series champ and Flat Rock weekly driver, and Erie, MI driver Bob Mikolajczyk (also a former weekly driver) are entered for the event.  The track’s Parts Galore Figure 8’s and DTS Drive Train Specialists Street Stocks will also be in action, which starts at 7 p.m.
