TOLEDO OH (9-19-08)-Arcaracing.com will provide live timing and scoring of the 20th Anniversary of the Miller Lite Glass City 200 at Toledo Speedway on Saturday, September 20th beginning at 12 Noon Eastern with a Late Model Practice Session. The live Timing and Scoring feature, which has been successfully used for ARCA RE/MAX Series races this season, will be available to race fans during all on-track sessions for ARCA Late Models on Glass City weekend, including practice, qualifying and racing.

Toledo Speedway ARCA Factory Stock driver James L. (Jim) Harmon died September 13 at the age of 59. Jim drove the #3 at Toledo since the 2006 season. A U.S. Army veteran serving overseas from 1966-1969, Jim was a licensed airplane pilot, certified mechanic for the City of Toledo municipal garage and was active in Free Masonry, achieving the 32nd degree. Preceded in death by his mother Helen, he is survived by his father James L. Harmon Sr.; children Bryan, Eric, Fred, Adam, Kim and Shelly; sister Pam Stanton; brothers Tim Harmon and Dave Harmon; and grandchildren, nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held at Blanchard-Strabler Funeral Home (1163 W. Sylvania at Lockwood in Toledo, 419-269-1111) with visitation Friday Sept. 19 from 2-8 p.m. and services Saturday Sept. 20 at 10 a.m.

TOLEDO, OH (9-18-08) - With a weekend off from the ARCA RE/MAX Series world, many series officials are going racing anyway. And they're steering for Toledo Speedway this Friday and Saturday where the 20th Miller Lite Glass City 200 takes center stage on the half-mile Toledo oval.

opportunity to contribute to the Ryan Gibson Education Fund in memory of Terry
Gibson this Saturday night at the Glass City 200 at Toledo Speedway.

TOLEDO, OH (9-17-2008)--
3-time race
winner Steve Sauve of Saginaw, MI and defending champ Brian Campbell are the
latest entries for the 20th Anniversary of the Miller Lite Glass
City 200, set for this Saturday, September 20 at Toledo Speedway. This year’s event has been scaled back to 150
laps, with $5500 to win and $1000 to start being posted for the Late Model
portion of the event.

TOLEDO, OH (9-11-2008)-- 2006 race winner John Doering has filed his entry for the 20th
Anniversary of the Miller Lite Glass City 200, set for Saturday, September 20
at Toledo Speedway. Hastings, MI driver Joe Bush, also expected to
be a contender for the win, has also entered this year’s edition of the Late
Model invitational, which has been set for 150 laps for 2008. A cash purse of over $55,000 has been posted,
with 200 laps of feature racing planned for the evening.

Other guests include ARCA RE/MAX Series driver Sean Caisse, ARCA Lincoln Welders Truck Series driver Duane Bischoff and Toledo Speedway Sportsman division champion Jim Froling. TOLEDO, OH (9-8-2008)-- As usual, the first 2 entries for
Toledo Speedway’s Miller Lite Glass City 200 have been received from Paul
Pelletier and Dennis Strickland. The duo
are always quick with their entries for the prestigious Late Model invitational. Brian Campbell of Jenison, MI is the defending champion of the
event. The race is set for Saturday
evening, September 20.

TOLEDO, OH (9-5-2008)-- A
huge crowd piled into Toledo Speedway Friday night for the Burge Wrecking Night
of Destruction, and it was just that. As
the featured School Bus Figure 8 race was coming down to the white flag, one of
the buses lost both its brakes and steering, sending the bus through the front
stretch wall. The catch cables and the
wall did their job, despite the wall breaking on impact. No one was injured and the bus did not get
into the grandstands.
