FLAT ROCK HOSTS AUTOGRAPH NIGHT SATURDAY

Flat Rock, MI—May 26, 2016: A big Memorial Day weekend event hits Flat Rock Speedway this Saturday, May 28. Autograph Night is on the plan, as race fans will be permitted to walk onto the track and meet the drivers!

In tribute to the fallen soldiers that have defended our country, a moment of silence will be held as part of the pre-race festivities Saturday evening.

The rescheduled Monroe News 250 lap Enduro race will join the ARCA Moran Chevrolet Late Models, ARCA Victory Lane Oil Change Figure 8’s and the DTS Drive Train Specialists Street Stocks for the night of fun and entertainment. Features only are slated for the May 28 race card. Racing Fan Club Night is also on the schedule.

Fans will get to see over 300 laps of feature racing this Saturday night! Over 90 cars are expected for the big 4 division race program. When time trials are completed, the drivers will bring their cars out onto the track surface. Fans will then be allowed to walk onto the track and meet the stars of Flat Rock Speedway!

Many of the race teams will have treats for the fans, hero cards and more as their way of saying “thank you” to the fan base at “The Rock”.

The pit gates open at 1:30, practice begins at 3, time trials are at 5, the on-track autograph session is at 6:15 and racing begins at 7 p.m. The front gates will also be open at 3 p.m.

Admission is $15 for adults, children 6-12 are $3 and under 6 are free. The track is located on Telegraph Road, 1 mile south of Flat Rock and 5 minutes from I-75 or I-275.
