Flat Rock Speedway

Flat Rock, MI—May 11, 2016: One of the most popular promotions of the season, Kid’s Night, is set for this Saturday, May 14 at Flat Rock Speedway! All kids to age 12 will be admitted FREE and each child will also receive a FREE hot dog. Parents are asked to pick up the child admission ticket/food voucher at the ticket windows upon arrival to the track Saturday. The evening is being sponsored by NASH ICON 98.3 and UAW Local 3000.

3 divisions of stock cars will be featured Saturday night, as the ARCA DTS Drive Train Specialists Street Stocks and the ARCA Victory Lane Oil Change Figure 8’s hit the track for their second race of the new season. Kyle Worley and Rich Abel captured the opening-night wins for the Street Stocks, while Jeremy Miller notched the Figure 8 victory.

The first Monroe News 250 lap Enduro race is also on the schedule, with a solid field of 27 cars pre-entered for the first of four of these races at Flat Rock this season. The class will also compete in an event at Toledo Speedway July 15. Defending champion Robb Remick of Royal Oak, MI is entered, and in 2016, Robb will be joined by a teammate, his son, Cody Remick.

The TKC Go-Karts will stage an exhibition race at approximately 6:30 p.m. The Club competes at Flat Rock on selected Sunday afternoons at the speedway.

The pit area opens at 2, practice begins at 4 (front gates also open at 4), time trials are set for 5:30, the go-kart run is at 6:30 and the race card begins at 7 p.m.
