ARCA GOLD CUP, MAIN EVENT TO CO-SANCTION 3 EVENTS IN 2016

Toledo, Ohio—February 8, 2016: Officials from the ARCA Royal Truck and Trailer Late Model Gold Cup Series and the Main Event Late Model Racing Series have announced the scheduling of three (3) events that will be co-sanctioned by the 2 groups for the outlaw-bodied pavement cars for the upcoming 2016 season.

The 2 organizations co-sanctioned a pair or races in 2015, with a third race being added for the new season. The first of these 3 races will take place at the Sandusky, OH Speedway Saturday, June 18, the second year for the co-sanctioning of this event.

The following Saturday, June 25, the Main Event Series will make their first-ever appearance at Flat Rock, MI Speedway to team with the ARCA Royal Gold Cup Series for the Joy Fair Memorial 100. The ¼ mile paved oval is known for its sensational side by side racing.

The third of the 3 races slated for co-sanction is the annual Miller Lite 100 presented by Royal Truck and Trailer Saturday evening, August 13 at the Toledo, OH Speedway. The 2016 edition of the event will be the third season of the 2 groups working together on this particular race.

Each Series will award points to all drivers based on their finishing positions. Jeff Ganus of Constantine, MI captured both titles in 2015.
