SNAP-ON TOOLS TO POST BONUSES FOR FLAT ROCK RACERS MAY 9
Flat Rock, MI—April 30, 2015: Snap-On Tools, celebrating its 95th Anniversary this year, will take an active role in the Saturday, May 9 racing card at Flat Rock Speedway. The tool company will post two (2) bonus awards for each feature race of the evening.
The 5th place driver in each main event will receive a ½ inch Cordless impact, while the 9th place finisher will take home a 3/8 inch Cordless impact wrench, courtesy of Snap-On Tools. In order to be eligible for the awards, the driver must display the Snap-On decal on the race car. Decals will be available to the race teams at the track on race day.
“We are pleased to welcome Snap-On Tools to Flat Rock Speedway and we are grateful for their support of our race teams,” stated Scott Schultz, General Manager of the track.
The May 9 race will see the ARCA Moran Chevrolet Late Models, Praxair Figure 8’s and DTS Drive Train Specialists Street Stocks in action. The UAW Local 3000 Night and College ID Night are also part of the evening’s festivities. All college students will be admitted free with their college ID.
The gates open at 4:30 and racing begins at 7 p.m. Flat Rock Speedway is located on Telegraph Road, just 5 miles from I-75 or I-275. Parking is free on the track grounds. The May 9 race ticket prices are $12 for adults, children 6-12 are always $3 and under 6 are free.
